Trump"s Stance On Undocumented Immigrants

On Sunday, Donald Trump’s campaign manager stated that it is still undecided as to whether or not potential President Trump will continue to support the forced deportation of many undocumented immigrants who are currently in the United States. Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellayne Conway responded after repeated questioning from CNN’s Dana Bash’s “State of the Union.” Conway stated that Trump’s decision was still to be determined.

Conway’s information was based on what was said in a meeting that Trump had on Saturday with the Hispanic Advisory Council. Some sources that attended the meeting stated that Trump did speak about efficient and humane ways to work with undocumented immigrants who are currently in the country. There was also speak of ways to legalize some of the immigrants and let them stay.

Conway stated that what Trump said during the meeting varied only a little from what he’s said to the public. Conway also informed media that what Trump does support is to make sure the law is enforced and also that we are respectful of American Citizens who are looking for work. Also that we are humane and fair to those living among us.

Other potential President Hillary Clinton, however, scoffed Trump’s change of heart and released a statement regarding the issue. She stated that Trump’s deportation plan still remains the same. She also stated that his plan is meant to tear families apart and to deport 16 million people from the United States.

Attorney General of Puerto Rico, Jose Fuentes was also in attendance at the meeting with the Hispanic Advisory Council. Fuentes’s says that Trump asked for ideas on how to deal with those who were are in the United States illegally, but Fuentes did not interpret that as Trump being willing to open legalization for some undocumented immigrants. Fuentes did, however, state that Trump’s interest in the Hispanic issues seemed sincere and he was in fact impressed by how Donald Trump understood the different issues important to the Hispanic voter.
