Britney Spears Gives Away VMA Outfit for Charity

Britney Spears, the very well-known 2000’ pop star is giving away her MTV Video Music Awards outfit to charity for the Louisiana flood relief.


The singer is making a contest giving away not only her wardrobe but also a flight for two to New York where the winner will get the chance to attend the show and to meet her in person.


Spears joined the American Red Cross in their efforts, using her star power for help along many other celebrities.


For the fans to be able to win the outfit and the tickets, they have to donate 10 dollars to charity towards the Red Cross.


Besides her, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga also teamed up to help with the Louisiana floods by donating money, Swift donating around $1 million for the cause.


It is said that the Louisiana flood is the worst natural disaster to occur after Hurricane Sandy. There were 13 people that lost their lives while thousands lost their houses.


Britney Spears is born on December 2nd, 1981, winner of a Grammy Award and two Emmys. According to Zomba Label Group, she is known to have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and 210 million singles, being the best-sold artist of the last decade. She is also the most researched name on Google for four consecutive years.


She not only has her own charity foundation but also joined hands with many others, from which some of them are the Red Cross listed above, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Kids Wish Network, Save The Music Foundation and more.
