Following Tuesday’s Yeezy Season 4 fashion show, the Grammy-winning artist revealed his plan to open 200 clothing stores in the next year.
‘I believe the first one will be in California since that’s where I stay now’, revealed Kanye for Vogue.
Last month, Yeezy launched 21 pop-up stores selling his ‘Life of Pablo’ items. The items literally disappeared from the shelves in hours.
Following the success reported by the pop-up stores, Kanye decided to open 200 official boutiques worldwide.
‘I’m very focused on trying to make things far more affordable, far more beautiful, and for far more people’, added the 39-year-old designer, known for his over-the-top expensive tastes, that reflects on his clothing lines.
He also confirmed that a children collection is in the works. For this one, he collaborated with his beloved wife.
Kim Kardashian’s husband took advantage of his fashion show to announce his upcoming album, in collaboration with Drake.
Regarding the discrimination accusations, Kanye affirmed the casting of 100 ‘multiracial’ models was staged and choreographed by Vanessa Beecroft.
