Doctor Harold Bornstein, who labeled Donald Trump’s state as ‘excellent’, paid $86,000 dollars to sweep under the carpet a malpractice lawsuit.

According to American media, Borstein prescribed a series of improper medicines based on morphine and other risky substances to one of his patients, who ended dying.

The doctor based in New York was charged with malpractice 15 years ago and ended up paying $86,000 dollars to the deceased’s family, in order to avoid a lawsuit.

Janet Levin’s family accused Bornstein that she fell on the ground and died after she took the improper treatment prescribed by Trump’s doctor. According to court documents, the drugs prescribed by Bornstein had nothing to do with Janet’s condition.

Besides the fact, he gave her the wrong medicines he suggested she also has to ingest a larger dose. Among the drugs that appeared on the medical receipt, there were Valium, barbiturates, and morphine, all in ridiculous doses.

The case never got before the judges, because in April 2002, Harold Bornstein sealed a financial agreement with the woman’s family. He denied all the allegations.

The 69-year-old became a doctor in 1976 and apparently Janet Levin’s unusual death was his only negligence.

He went under the press radar in December 2015, after he involved in Donald Trump’s political campaign. The controversial politician published a letter signed by the doctor, in which he wrote Donald Trump is ‘the healthiest man elected as a president’.

This is pretty awkward, considering the fact that last month Bornstein said the letter was written in five minutes without an actual medical check-up.
