The First Lady looked radiant and her supporters went crazy when she stepped on the stage.

However, when she took the microphone, the situation became a little bit ‘blurry’ for the Slovenian beauty.

The First Lady had the official duty of performing the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ in front of the massive crowd.

We are not sure if her East European accent or the fact that she was so nervous were the decisive factors that transformed Melania’s prayer into something that required a subtitle.

The First Lady became the target of some serious jokes, especially on the social media.

She was ridiculed by Netizens for her awkward accent and because she read the prayer from a paper.

Normally, the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ it’s something that even toddlers know by rote.

The fact she was extremely nervous was quite obvious, but users were pretty unforgiving.

Shortly after the awkward moment ended, Melania talked about her husband’s plans and how he will offer Americans a new life perspective.

The First Lady was obviously defending her husband, who after four weeks of governing, received massive criticism from the entire world.

It looks like she is following in Hillary Clinton’s footsteps, who rushed to defend Bill like a lioness.
