100 women to celebrate 100 years

This was the wish on an Aussie centenary and veteran.

After the end of the WWII, Doug and his companions celebrated the event and expressed this wish with them.

With a little bit of help and faith, his dream became reality.

Doug was ‘the king of the night’

The 100-year-old received a crown and a lady costumed in Marylin Monroe sang ‘Happy Birthday’.

100 ladies attended Doug’s party, fulfilling Doug’s wish from since he was just a young and reckless soldier.

‘A boy asked me: << What are your hopes for the after-war life?>> I sat on the chair and I said I hope to live 100 years and to have 100 girls at my anniversary party’, declared Doug Cunningham.

He got his first wish, but for the second one, he received a little bit of help from a mysterious girl, that he met in a supermarket.

‘A girl started talking to me and asked how old I am. I told her I will soon be 100 and wish the same number of girls for my party. She said she will do her best to find that many guests. This is how all started’.

A very organized online campaign and some posters placed in Swansea’s bars, prove to be a success.

According to the man, his ‘recipe’ is that he learned how to enjoy the best in life.

He doesn’t watch TV and enjoys long walks every single day.
