On Saturday, president Trump held a rally in Florida. The First Lady was also there.
In his speech, the president talked about terrorism among others. He referred to certain countries that have been through certain situations recently and then added Sweden to the list. This left people wonder as no such thing happened.
As he was referring to the importance of protecting the country, he pointed the incident that happened “last night” in Sweden. Of course that everyone was baffled as nothing happened.
He pointed that they deal with some problems like they never thought they would have. Also, many victims were encountered.
The people in Sweden have no idea about what he’s talking about.
After everyone started questioning the statement, the president responded on Twitter. He said that he heard about it on Fox News. They had a whole broadcast about it. Like usual, he blames the media for his mistakes.
Earlier during the week, at the press conference, he said that he had the biggest number of votes in history as a president. When a reporter said that there have been presidents with way more votes than him, Trump simply responded that those numbers were given to him and he has no idea.
This time, he chose to blame others as well. It seems like delivering false facts has become usual to him.
His staff from the White House also stepped in and took his defense. They said that he was referring to how crime raised lately and not to a certain attack.
