Marttel introduced the first Barbie doll in 1958.

Ever since, Barbie has been the center of a cultural controversy. Fortunately, manufacturers are continuously adapting to the present times.

Consequently, they created a Barbie hologram.

Currently, the doll embodies many of the faces that have been associated with Barbie over time.

The doll had the chance of an enviable career, from an astronaut or the president of the US to a hip-hop singer.

Today, after 57 years, Barbie turned into a hologram.

Barbie hologram is a small box that projects an animated Barbie doll that can respond to voice commands and can interact through voice and movement with the user.

The invention is quite intuitive.

A screen is located at the top of the box that projects an image of Barbie on a translucent surface.

So, the doll seems to float in the air.

The toy uses a 2D projection and a 3D animation that limit pretty much what you see.

For example, you can not see Barbie in 3D if you’re looking from one side, and if you look from the back, you can not see her at all.

How to interact with the toy?

It is quite simple.

By saying ‘Hello Barbie’ the doll comes to life.

The device comes with many features. For example, you can ask them to change her appearance, clothing, or to set an alarm for a specific time to shine at night or even memorize the schedule and take notes.

Also, Barbie can offer you on-demand the weather forecast for that day.

Barbie hologram is currently exposed in New York.

Although it is not yet available on the market, manufacturers claim that Barbie will be available at a lower price than $ 300.
