Angelina Jolie is a well-known defender of human rights and she wants to draw the attention to this global issue even more.
The actress will star in a Turkish soup-opera, in which the main characters will portray a group of Syrian refugees.
Another major celebrity who will join the cast is no other than Real Madrid hunk Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Turkish TV series will focus on a family who leaves its native country (Syria) and searches for shelter in Turkey.
According to the most recent UN data, at the end of 2016, in Turkey were living no less than 2.7 million Syrian refugees.
Except for the ‘crisis of the refugees’ theme, the soap-opera will also approach other traditional themes like love and family bonds.
The series is entitled ‘Hayat Koprusu’, reports the Turkish press and it will air in Turkey, Middle East, and Latin America.
According to the Turkish press, the production will start in April
‘We will have actors and actresses from all around the world, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Angelina Jolie and Nancy Ajram’, revealed director Eyup Dirlik.
Considering that Angelina Jolie and her former husband fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, we are eager to notice the dynamics between the future co-stars.
Angelina looks a lot like Cristiano’s type, so if something will happen between the two it should not be surprising.
