Pakistan declares three days of national mourning
The Muslim state improved its security system after the terrorist attacks shocked the entire world and triggered the death of at least 75 deaths.
However, the most controversial incident occurred in the southern part of Pakistan, in a sanctuary from Sehwan.
The authorities launched this elaborate operation on Friday, a day after the suicide attack.
‘The federal security teams and the police initiated the investigation in the whole country and numerous suspects were arrested’, declared a Government spokesperson.
At least 18 terrorists were killed last night during the special mission unfolded in Sindh by the Internal Affairs department.
Other seven suspects were killed in the north-western part of the country by a group of officers from Peshawar.
The attack was committed in a sanctuary dedicated to Saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in the Schwan city and it was claimed by ISIS.
The authorities of the province declared three days of national mourning, in the beloved memory of the victims.
A series of bloody attacks rocked Pakistan in the last weeks. Seven people lost their lives on Wednesday after the terrorists detonated two bombs in the north.
Meanwhile, at least 13 persons died on Monday, during a terrorist attack that targeted an official meeting in the Lahore metropolis.
The explosion occurred on a crowded street from downtown, where a protest of the pharmacists was organized.
A suicidal attacker on a motorcycle detonated a bomb, placed on his back.
He ended up crashing into a police vehicle.
Two officers died in the impact.
