See the new cast of “The Lion King” remake

The fans of “The Lion King” will be very happy to learn about the newest actors that will give life to the characters.
Jon Favreau, the director of the film, just gave the news on social media. The beloved characters from the 1994 will be played by some of the most successful actors of today.
James Earl Jones, who voiced the infamous Darth Vader in the “Star Wars” series, will now give life to Mufasa once again. He also did in the original film.
Donald Glover will be Simba. Him and the director met back in December. The two attended a conversation held by ‘The Hollywood Reporter.’
Favreau told the actor, who also sings, that his son is a big fan of his. Glover performs under the name ‘Childish Gambino’. His son even has a huge poster with the actor in his room.
Last year, Favreau took on another Disney favorite, “The Jungle Book”. In this film, he used a human child, while the animals and the jungle were created with technology and the green screen. He plans on doing the same with this one.
The remake of the Liong King will not be a live action, although lately the majority of the Disney remakes were.
The script will be written by Jeff Nathanson.
Glover has a very successful career right now. Apart from his musical career, he also stars in “Star Wars”. The film is currently in production. For his series, “Atlanta”, the actor won a Golden Globe.
When announcing the cast, the director shared pictures of them. The one with Glover said that he can’t wait to be a king. He also said that he can’t wait to work with Jones, a legend.
