During a press conference held on Thursday, President Trump became the subject of a humiliating situation.
A reporter asked Trump ‘why the Americans should trust you?’, and that was it.
The entire press conference turned into this awkward and unpleasant perch.
But, the question followed a controversial statement of the president.
The state leader claim that in the Electoral College he obtained 306 votes and a number of votes represents the most significant victory since Ronald Reagan’s election in 1980.
In the Electoral College, Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by a score of 304-227 votes in the Electoral College, because seven of them voted for someone else.
‘We obtained 306 votes because the people voted as they never did it before’, declared the president.
Initially, Donald Trump gained 30 votes on the night of the election, because two electors were ‘unfaithful’.
A reported made a brief interruption of the press conference to correct him, proving that Democrat president Barack Obama raised way more votes from the electors ( 365 in 2008 and 332 in 2012).
Republican George H. W. Bush raised 426.
After the misunderstanding, NBC reporter Peter Alexander added: ‘why American should trust you when you accuse the information that you receive are false?’
‘Especially, when the information offered by you is also false?’
Trapped between the devil and the deep sea, Donald thought the best solution is to point his finger towards his own staff.
‘I received this information’, replied Donald Trump.
