Philipp Plein believes he is more talented and more experienced in the fashion industry than Alexander Wang.
After he accused the German fashion designer of copying the concept of one his previous fashion shows and his creations, Wang also came with the proof.
The 33-year-old Taiwanese designer never offended the German.
The only thing he did was to post a comparison between his collection launched in 2014 and Plein’s show on Valentine’s Day.
However, the Munich-born playboy became furious, initiating this massive and also unnecessary social media rant.
Instead of doing nothing or proving the opposite with strong arguments, Philipp took it to Instagram.
He says that Alexander Wang is ‘ridiculous’ and he is on a whole another level.
Although it seems like a joke, Plein’s last Instagram post says it all.
Shortly after Philipp Plein’s Plein Sport collection was launched, the Taiwanese posted a video footage with his 2014 fashion show.
Wang was ironical but classy and without offending Lindsay Lohan’s former boyfriend, he added the description:
‘Can I copy your theme?’
‘Yes, but change it a little bit’.
Plein took it personally and offended his industry fellow, by claiming that Wang’s ‘Mickey Mouse show from 2014 doesn’t look anything like his concept’.
It’s hilarious how you tried to draw the attention on you’, replied Plein.
‘Next time do your homework before you try to compete with me’, added Philipp Plein.
We would like to know your opinions regarding this ‘copycat rant’. Share your honest regard in the comments section.
