Game of Thrones will launch four spin-offs after the eighth season

 The drama from Westeros will not come to an end during the eight season


After the producers announced the season set to be released in 2018 will also be the last one, HBO revealed that Game of Thrones will have four spin-offs.


The rumors related to a Game of Thrones spin-off began years ago but the confirmation came today.


Screenwriters Max Borenstein, Jane Goldman, Brian Helgeland and Carly Wray joined forced in the new project, reports Vanity Fair.


Although executive producers of the original series Dan Weiss and David Benioff will also be involved in the project of making the four spin-offs they will not write the scripts.


Until then, the fans are eager to watch the seventh season set to premiere on 16th July.


The seventh season includes seven episodes while the eighth and the last will premiere in 2018.


The medieval fantasy series based on George R. R. Martin’s novel ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ and produced by HBO is focused on the adventures and intrigues generated by the family members of Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Targaryen dynasties.


Game of Thrones became this social phenomenon, extremely appreciated by viewers due to the remarkable performances of the actors and the complexity of their characters.


The series won numerous important distinctions and trophies, including 26 Emmy’s statues.


The novels written by R. R Martin were also sold in 60 million copies and translated into 45 different languages.
