Spider-Man: Homecoming is the kind of movie with superheroes that everybody was yearning for

Once again, Marvel proved us wrong: Tom Holland is, indeed, the perfect man for the job.

Those of us who loved watching that “ancient” cartoon TV channel Fox Kids, remembers that among other series, the Spider-Man cartoon was broadcasted almost every evening.

For me, personally, that was the exact same period when I started to become fascinated by everything related to the Marvel hero.

After acquiring everything, including comic books, magazines and home decorations with the character, the movie with Tobey Maguire appeared, the first part of the trilogy directed then by the genius Sam Raimi.

Spider – Man 3 was a true disappointment and the series started a slow but sure decline that no one was able to prevent.

In the early 2000’s, way before Marvel founded the film studio and cinematic universe, the company ceded the image rights of his most famous hero to Sony.

After the company founded by Martin Goodman and presided by Stan Lee bought back the image rights, they decided to integrate Spider-Man into the Avengers universe.

Everyone was excited to learn that the hero will have a cameo in Captain America, including myself.

The news series reminds me so much of the animated cartoon from my childhood, and the main character, Peter Parker (Spider-Man) is being portrayed impeccably by Tom Holland.

Holland, by far, got inside the character way better than Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield because he is weirder but in a good way and has the hottest Aunt May ever (Marisa Tomei).
