Over the years, dozens of their look-a-likes competed in who impersonates them better
However, the most popular doppelgangers are those grannies, who most times, can be easily mistaken for the Queen due to their incredible resemblance.

But, what not many people know is the fact that Queen Elizabeth II has an official look-a-like, who works for Her Majesty for more than 30 years.
According to Hello! Magazine, the monarch’s look-a-like is Ella Slack and she plays an extremely important role when it comes to the Buckingham Palace’s official events.
Ella Slack is 74 years old and spent her last 30 years portraying Queen Elizabeth’s “role”, especially when it comes to important events.
Ella seems to have participated throughout her “career” to more than 50 rehearsals and believes that what she is doing is an extremely high honor for which she refuses to be paid.
Ella has no benefits from this job, except that she has the opportunity – for a few hours – to be in the clothes of the most important person in the UK.

Talking about her experience, Ella said: “It all started at BBC when the producer came to see me and told me that the Queen has sent me a message and that led to other things. I went with the royal chariot and I replaced her at the State Opening of Parliament. I never, however, had the chance to sit in the House of Lords throne. (…) If I am in a carriage or a car I wave! ”
Ella was the one who explained the difference between a look-a-like and a double.

She said the double does not have to look exactly like the Queen.
“A double is not the same as a look-a-like. I do not have to look exactly like the Queen. But we share the same height and weight. I have around 1.60 and Her Majesty 1.63”, revealed Ella.
