The letter written by Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend in 2013 was found in an iPad
Cathriona White accuses the American actor of destroying her life and infecting her with several venereal diseases.
According to the letter obtained and published by Daily Mail, Cathriona wrote about her bumpy relationship with the actor who had a very difficult character, requiring him to apologize for what he has done, advising Carrey to stop hiding that he is suffering from STD’s for the sake of his future life partners.
The message will be used as a piece of evidence during the trial in which the 55-year-old star will be judged for murder.
Shortly after the brunette committed suicide, Jim Carrey was sued by Cathriona’s husband, Mark Burton, and her mother, Brigid Sweetman.
The actor is accused of providing his girlfriend with illegal drugs by using several false names.
Cathriona White, who was a successful make-up artist, was found death on September 2015 in her home from Los Angeles.
Her body was discovered by a group of friends who expressed their worries and went to see what she was doing.
According to the press, she committed suicide by administrating an overdose, leaving a farewell note, in which she explained how heartbroken she was.
The court documents claim that after White asked Carrey for explanations, the actor lied about his venereal illnesses. After the confrontation, he ignored her completely.
Carrey and his lawyer denied these accusations, calling them ‘false and pathetic claims ‘.
The court file also speaks about the several occasions in which the comedian bought his former girlfriend very strong drugs obtained only with a prescription from the doctor using the nickname ‘King Arthur’.
Carrey knew about White’s problems with depression and about her previous suicide attempt.
