The United States sealed a new collaboration deal with the Israel army, worth $38 billion dollars.

The $38 billion dollar amount is a record for the American special forces, informs BBC News online.

The White House confirmed the terms of the deal on Wednesday and the signing will occur during a special ceremony at the State Department.

The negotiations lasted more than 10 months and the 10-year military partnership will come into force in 2018.

This document obligates the United State to provide to Israel military assistance worth $38 billion dollars for the next 10 years.

Before they came up with this new agreement, America provided Israel with military equipment worth $3,1 billion annually.

According to Reuters, the funding will allow Israel to update “the lion’s share” of its fighter aircraft, including purchasing additional F-35 Joint Strike Fighters. The Israeli state is set to receive 33 F-35 aircraft, the first two of which will be delivered in December.

The Palestinian officials criticized the initiative, motivating that Barack Obama’s Administration continued to reward the Israeli state despite the nasty situation from West Bank.

According to an Israeli news agency, the military partnership provides Israel annual funds worth $500 million dollars, in order to create new missile defense systems on Israel’s territory.

The relations between Israel and The United States are an extremely important factor for the American government and for the Middle Eastern policy. Over the years, the American Congress placed a considerable importance on maintaining this relationship close and supportive.
