The Business Korea analysts believe that hi-tech enthusiasts who initially wanted to acquire the new Galaxy Note 7 will now opt for iPhone 7 Plus.

Buyers changed their mind due to the ‘exploding battery’ scandal and the most privileged side regarding sales will now become Apple.

Taking into consideration that iPhone 7 is not exactly a revolutionary product and consumers were not very excited that Apple removed the 3,5 mm audio jack, this scandal proved extremely advantageous for the American company.

And as a result of this situation, the international smartphone market will certainly register some disappointing numbers in the upcoming quarter.

Although it was received very well on the market and the Korean company estimated record sales for the next year, the ‘battery’ scandal comes as a major impediment.

There are experts who believe that Samsung Note is definitely compromised and the company should launch a larger version of Galaxy S8 instead.

And, as if the scandal regarding the old batteries was not enough for Samsung Note 7, another ‘explosion’ smartphone is now surfacing online. This time, Samsung reportedly faces a lawsuit after a Galaxy S7 Edge exploded inside the pocket of an Ohio resident.

Daniel Ramirez was left with third-degree burns on his leg and lower back. The American had to go under a skin graft surgery and he is now in intensive therapy. Although he is stable, he’s condition is still delicate. Ramirez decided to take legal actions against Samsung.
