The school from Milan is facing the most unusual situation.

The public institution ran out of funds so the students were advised to come from home with toilet paper, reports independent.co.uk.

The Casati Primary School is situated in the center of Milan and the administration is going through some serious financial crisis.

Due to the not so pleasant situation, the school management urged parents to ‘equip’ their children with toilet paper, cups and other things that normally they would receive from school.

‘We ran out of toilet paper … you can bring a pack of four rolls each, please’, wrote the school management in a message sent to the parents.

The parents declared they are willing to accept these demands, although they expressed concerns about the financial situation and the future of the school.

‘The school year has just begun and we were informed that the school funds are in a critical situation. They informed us that we should offer different things, such as paper, cups and even toilet paper’ said one of the parents.

A general report regarding the situation of the schools from all around Italy exposed a the cruelest reality. Most schools across the country are facing financial problems and also issues related to the structure of the buildings and the hygiene.

The report revealed that 37% of the state schools in Italy are not benefiting from basic things, such as toilet paper, while the 50% doesn’t have soap in the toilets.
