Last week, India made history with the 104 satellites that were launched into space in a single mission. This event became worldwide famous and captured the attention of other huge space agencies.
The European agency just expressed its interest in a collaboration with India.
Mark McCaughrean, an advisor of the organization, declared that they are looking forward to establishing a new connection with ISRO. He and the leader of ISRO already had a talk, but not an official one.
The two organizations collaborated in the past, on a mission to the Moon. The European agency had collaborations with 22 countries in total.
They already have some exciting mission planned for the following years: 2018- Mercury and Jupiter for 2022. For the mission on mercury, they collaborated with Japan.
The mission on Jupiter will take three years. In this time, the astronauts will observe the planet and three of its natural satellites. The observations will be very detailed. The advisor of the European agency thinks that these satellites may have life on them.
ISRO’s mission has been the biggest and boldest to date. They are ambitious into making a name for themselves across the globe. Until now, in this sense, they have managed to do so.
For the next years, they have more bold plans. One of them is a trip to Venus and another one to Mars. The one to Mars is going to be their second.
For the latest mission, they collaborated with several countries, especially with US. They had foreign satellites.
