Some animals judge you by the way you treat others

If you want your pet to like you, then you should be careful how you treat the people around you.
Scientists came to the conclusion that monkeys and dogs judge you based on this criterion. Of course, like probably anyone else, these animals like us better when we are nice and fair to the ones around us.
Dogs have a thing for help. If you help others, then they will definitely like you. On the other side, monkeys like fair people.
This discovery comes from the Kyoto University. The team just released a paper on this issue. They think that these judgements will help us understand the morality specific to humans.
Of course, the team led a study. They had humans recreate different behaviors while the animals watched. Their reactions were closely watched.
One of the tests included someone who struggled with opening a can and asking for help. There were three cases: either they helped, simply watched or refused. After this, the actors offered treats to the pets.
They refused to get the treat from the ones that did not help and were also reluctant to accept from the ones that simply watched. However, they did get the treat from the helpful ones.
Children do the same social judgements. Humans already have this sense of morality. Discovering animals have it too is great.
Persons who are antisocial will most of the times get a reaction. Some are more sensitive to it and react stronger.
