Apple announced in August that on September 7 they will launch the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The event will take place at 20.00p.m. and it will be broadcasted live on the Internet.

According to the last report initiated by Strategy Analytics showed that Apple sold their first two iPhone 7 today.

iPhone 6s became the most popular smartphone in the world in the second quarter of 2016, with an estimated 14,2 million of units sold worldwide, while iPhone 6 came on the second place with 8,5 million units. The American giant expects iPhone 7 to beat the record set by iPhone 6s.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, revealed 12 major changes of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

  1. The new True Tone displays will have a proximity sensor based on laser technology

  2. The new iPhone 7 comes in three versions: 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal memory

  3. An ambient light sensor for a better image quality

  4. A dual-LED Flash

  5. A 3,5 mm headphone jack

  6. A reversible lightning port

  7. A second external speaker and an integrated amplifier for better sound.

  8. An IPX7 Waterproof feature – the phone can be placed in water for 30 minutes.

  9. The new A10 chipset and a 2.45GHz CPU speed

  10. The antenna lines on the back will disappear

  11. Two new exciting colors: dark black and piano black

  12. The home button will be replaced with a haptic sensor

The difference between the two phones launched by Apple will be more significant than in the previous years when the display size was the main difference – besides the dual chamber system, iPhone 7 Plus might become the most powerful smartphone on the market.
