During a press conference on Thursday, Angela Merkel said that Germany must find a ‘viable solution’, in order to integrate more refugees on the labor market.
Especially after numerous major companies from Germany hired less than 100 refugees although more than million established in their country.
On Wednesday, the German Chancellor reunited in Berlin with a group of company CEO’s to find an appropriate method to integrate the refugees into the workforce.
‘So we need to show some patience’, said Markel. In addition, the politician claims that numerous groups of refugees already signed in integration classes.
The employees are very reluctant about this issue because they were not able to learn German and their lack of skills are the main reasons they avoided their hiring.
A poll conducted by Reuters, which included 30 companies from Germany listed on their Stock Exchange revealed they hired only 63 refugees.
From the 63, only 50 managed to stay at the Deutsche Post DHL in the sorting and delivery departments.
More than one million migrants established in Germany the last year and Angela Merkel’s main purpose is to integrate as many as possible in the labor market.
This strategy will determine them to become more independent and will compensate Germany’s workforce lack.
Merkel wants to determine the German companies to initiate a series of internships and jobs for the migrants and criticized their discriminant attitudes.
Companies like Siemens, Evonik, and even Volkswagen are just a few companies willing to involve in the project.
