For the seventh season, producers announced British actor Ian McShane will join the star-studded cast.

Although his casting was not very appreciated by the fans, in the end, they approved it was the most inspired choice.

For the upcoming season, HBO producers prepared another surprise up their sleeves.

They confirmed Jim Broadbent’s inclusion in the next season.

According to Hollywood Reporter Academy awarded, the actor will play a significant role in the seventh season.

HBO refused to give further details regarding Broadbent’s character.

The seventh season includes seven episodes and airs on April 2017.

The shootings will take place in Iceland, Spain, and Northern Ireland.

Although the producers are very restrained regarding the next series, actress Maisie Williams revealed that “nothing will prepare” fans for the new season.

After reading the script, the 19-year-old tweeted: “’Holy BALLS. Just finished reading season 7. I’d start preparing yourselves now.”

Earlier this summer, Game of Thrones fans were devastated after HBO president Casey Bloys revealed that the hit-TV series will end after season 8.

The 67-year-old movie legend most acclaimed role was as writer John Bailey in Richard Eyre’s film based on Bayley’s memoir, Elegy for Iris.

The flawless impersonation brought him a Golden Globe and Academy Award for the Best Supporting actor.

He is also known as Hogwart’s professor Horace Slughorn from the British-American fantasy film Harry Potter and the final film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2.
