A 54-year-old British man suffered 27 heart attacks in less than 24 hours.

Ray Woodhall experienced his first heart failure during a football match.

Shortly after he arrived at the hospital, Ray experienced other 26 heart failures, reports BBC News.

The Briton was on the football pitch when he felt a strong painful sensation in his chest.

In the first hour, Ray refused to call an ambulance, but he changed his mind after the pains amplified.

The paramedics told him that he just survived a heart attack, but he refused to believe.

After he arrived at the medical unit, the men reported other 26 attacks.

Luckily, the medical team managed to resuscitate him every single time.

At one point, the survivor revealed a nurse apologized because she pressed on his chest for so many times.

Apparently, this was the first time in her life when she performed so many CPR sessions.

‘The last heart attack was the scariest’, confessed the man, who is also the father of three.

His wife held his hand while he experienced his last and most intense heart attack.

‘She saw how I was dying’, added the father.

According to a British tabloid, Ray went through the horrific moments in December last year, but he decided to talk about it now.

He took advantage of the situation to thank the doctors and nurses who saved his life for so many times.

According to a source familiar with the case, the man needs six months to fully recover.
