After launching the Fashion Eye in July, Karbonn has also launched another smartphone. K9 Viraat was launched in India at Rs. 5,990. It went on sale in two color variations; champagne and black. This new product is sold at Snapdeal, which will be offering the phone at a discounted price of Rs. 4,799.

When it comes to its specs, Karbonn K9 Viraat runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with a 5.5-inch High Definition IPS screen of 720×1280 pixel resolution. The smartphone features a 5 mega pixel rear camera equipped with a LED flash and a 3.2MP front camera. The rear camera has a double LED flash.

The Karbonn K9 Viraat mobile phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It also ships out with an 8GB internal memory, which could be enlarged up to 64GB via a micro sd card. The phone has a long battery life with a 2,800mAh range.

The Karbonn Viraat K9 also has a full range of connectivity features like 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It packs a non-detachable 2,800mAh battery which is maintained to provide 8 hrs of talk-time and up to 350 hrs of standby time, according to the Karbonn.

Karbonn partnered with Staqu, an AI research firm to introduce artificial intelligence powered search features in their preceding two smartphones. The 1.3GHz quad-core processor is an ARM Cortex A7 central processing unit with a lot of power.

The company claims that it is one of the first smartphone manufacturers to include artificial intelligence in its style-based devices ‘Fashion Eye and ‘Fashion Eye 2.0.’ The artificial intelligence app will automatically recognize patterns and colors to offer relevant results from millions of fashion products online.
