We are certainly experiencing a very ‘interesting’ era
If, last year, Pokemon made an incredible comeback with the huge success of Pokemon Go, now it’s time to witness the next level of human insanity.
According to mashable.com, the most popular Pokemon, Pikachu, will have his own train.
The Japanese people are already considered one of the weirdest nations of our planet.
From the bizarre sexually suggestive TV shows to those awkward annual festivals, where they dress-up in anime characters and start dancing together, a Pikachu train should not sound that weird after all, considering that we are talking about Japan.
Japan Railways created this Pikachu inspired train, obviously, in collaboration with legal rights holder The Pokemon Company.

However, what we didn’t know at the beginning is the reason behind the project, which in fact is quite noble.
The Pikachu train is part of this major humanitarian campaign dedicated to the victims of an earthquake in Tohoku from 2011.
The train has two large red spots designed to symbolize the cheeks of the beloved character and the interior is also predominantly colored in yellow.

The chairs have Pikachu models drawn all over them and a playground packed with Pikachu dolls.
The train will run on the route Ofunato, which extends from Ichinoseki to Kesenuma and it will be inaugurated on July 15.
