Do you guys remember Omran Daqneesh?
The toddler who became a literal symbol of the Syrian civil war, after a picture in which he awaits in the ambulance while covered in dust and blood was beamed around the world?

You’ll be very pleased to find out Omran is now happy, healthy and, most important, safe.
Although they are still living in Aleppo, Omran reunited with his family after, last year he miraculously escaped unharmed from an air strike.
Unfortunately for Omran’s family, his older brother Ali died in that same day.

The candid interview was taken this week by Lebanese TV station Al-Mayadeen
In the images, the five-year-old is staying on his father’s knee and becomes a little bit shy when the cameras are turned towards him.
The interview was conducted by pro-Assad journalist Kinana Allouche, who also documented the visit on her Twitter page:
‘The child Omran, those who tried to shed Syrian blood mislead the news that he was hit by the Syrian Arab Army. Here he now lives in the Syrian state with its army, its leader and its people’, captioned the reporter.
