Former actress Renate Langer is the fourth woman who accuses director Roman Polanski of sexual assault, writes the New York Times.

Renate Langer revealed for the Swiss police that Roman Polanski raped her 46 years ago when she was just 15.

The woman claims the incident took place in February, 1972, in a house from Gstaad, Switzerland.

Polanski’s lawyer, Harland Braun, refused to comment on the accusations, considering this is not the first time the director is being charged for sexual assault

On March 11, 1977, he was arrested and charged for raping Samantha Geimer, who was just 13-years-old at the time.

Polanski pleaded guilty to having sexual intercourse with a minor and spent 42 days in prison.

A year later, however, when he found out that the judge was not willing to accept any deal and planned to sentence him to 50 years in prison, Polanski fled to Paris.

The director remained there, while his victim insisted to close the case.

However, last month, judge Scott Gordon decided to resume the case.

Roman Polanski, born on August 18, 1933, is one of the world’s most respected directors, filmmakers and scriptwriters.

He is the author of “The Knife in the Water,” the first Polish movie to receive an Oscar nomination in the “Best Foreign Film” category.

He also produced and wrote other successful projects such as Repulsion, Foundation, Rosemary’s Child, , “The Chinese Quarter”, “The Pianist” and “Venus Dressed in Furs”.

He won an Oscar, three BAFTA prizes, a Golden Globe, eight César prizes and the Palme d’Or trophy.
