Kendall Jenner is protecting her safety by hiring round-the-clock security guards after a man recently got past the gates of her new home.

On Sunday, Shavaughn McKenzie watched for the supermodel to return to her Hollywood Hills home. He then followed Kendall up her driveway. The reality TV starlet called the police on the alleged stalker.

Apparently, Shavaughn had been watching the model at her home in the past. After the incident, Kendall immediately decided to hire round-the-clock security guards. She wants to ensure no other stalkers try to follow her in the future.

It seems Kris Jenner’s daughter was shaken up by the incident. The beautiful brunette now feels unsafe in her home. The 20-year-old just purchased the house in June.

The security guards will be stationed outside her home to keep watch. They will also patrol the business woman’s yard. She wants to deter potential stalkers from lurking on the property.

Shavaughn was charged for his actions and received a restraining order. He is facing one count of misdemeanor stalking as well as one count of misdemeanor trespassing. Having been on probation twice in the past, he could face jail time.

Recent reports reveal Kris Jenner and other members of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” clan were concerned about Kendall’s safety. They felt the residence was not completely secure.

The smart young businesswoman is now taking control of her safety. In the future, she plans to be protected by a security team at all times. Kendall has decided not to take any risks by beefing up security.
