The Chinese football world managed to ‘snatch’ another valuable player.

Argentinian star Carlos Tevez signed a contract valid for the next two years with Shanghai Shenhua.

The talented striker will receive no less than 20 million euros per season, as the Iberian media reports.

The Chinese group, which officially announced the transfer on Thursday, paid 11 million euros for the Boca Juniors star.

The 32-year-old had a contract with the Argentinian football club until the summer of 2017.

Tevez will become the colleague of Demba Ba, Obafemi Martins and Guarin

Throughout his career, the international played for Corinthians, West Ham United, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Juventus.

Shanghai Shenhua finished on the 4th position last season in China and is coached by Gustavo Poyet.

Since May the Chinese signed a series of big team contracts with Demba Ba, Fredy Guarin, and Obafemi Martins.

A couple of weeks ago the football player got married to his childhood girlfriend Vanessa.

The ceremony took place in Uruguay and the pair chose as a honeymoon destination the city of Dubai.

The two, who met when they were 13 years old and they have two daughters.

Tevez will travel to Shanghai, where he will earn 80 million euros in two years, becoming the highest paid footballer of all times, according to the profile charts.
