Taboo: Tom Hardy’s new series

Critics are predicting a huge success for the upcoming series, ‘Taboo’. The new series, although not the next ‘Game of Thrones’, does have an impressive line-up of stars.

Tom Hardy, the British heartthrob, will star among Jonathan Pryce and Oona Chaplin in the new interesting series.

The first trailer features an almost naked Tom Hardy and a man with a pig mask on.

The drama is really expected by the star’s fans.

The action takes place in 1814 with a rogue adventurer played by Hardy. His character is quite interesting. Even though at the beginning he is believed to be dead, he makes a return to London. Here, he comes to inherit his dad’s fortune and build a new life for himself.

He isn’t welcomed very well, with enemies lurking at every corner. His father wasn’t as he thought he was, being involved in businesses with strange men.

The trailer, that has just arrived, is pretty weird. It features a Tom Hardy in a loincloth, then in a cell. His character swears he will do “very foolish things”. A man is wearing a pig mask, while others sport some long black coats and hats.

Hardy is in the executive-producing team as well. Ridley Scott and Stephen Knight are also executive producers to the series.

Actually, the whole series is based on Hardy’s and his father’s, Chips Hardy, original idea.

‘Taboo’ will premiere on FX on January 10 and will feature eight episodes.

As it appears, Tom hardy isn’t just the good-looking actor, but has brains as well and very original and interesting ideas.
