If you ever wondered how a store from the future might look, Amazon Go is your answer.

Our life has changed radically in the past 20 years. Mostly, due to the evolution of the technology and how some basic experiences were transformed into hi-tech processes. However, one thing remained the same: the daily run to the grocery store.

Despite the fact, 2016 marked an era in which you can purchase almost anything online, Amazon believes that the traditional supermarkets will not disappear anytime soon.

So, the retail giant made a major investment. Amazon inaugurated Amazon Go, a revolutionary shop located in Seattle, spread on 550 square meters.

At first glance, Amazon Go is not very different from an average store, except there are no cash registers and shelves and flooded by sensors, recognition systems based on artificial intelligence and surveillance cameras.

All these gadgets work together so you that people will not become forced to interact with each other while they are shopping.

Amazon Go is all about maximum efficiency. Using the Amazon App, the store requires the customer to scan the app on a billboard place at the entrance, and so, the system will know that you arrived in the store.

After you scan the app, using the facial recognition algorithm and the sensors placed on the shelf, Amazon will know exactly what you picked up from the shelf. Once you finished shopping, you simply exit the store and the bill will come by email.

The new store includes about any products that you find in an ordinary supermarket, from drinks and snacks to hygiene products.
