Nokia is planning to revive five old school mobile phones

In what is a long awaited comeback, Nokia plans to launch five new smartphones in 2017. These Android devices will sport a 5” and 5.7” displays and will be presented to the public at the Mobile World Congress in February.

The once giant market leader on mobile phones took a big hit with the launch of Apple’s iPhones in the late 90’s, and while their old model phones sell for a bundle on e-Bay, they’re used of the Windows 10 OS on their smartphones was a big financial disaster.

But with new designs for their devices and a brand new Android operating system this could be a hit with the people that missed the brand. In the true Nokia fashion, these new phones will be inexpensive but durable, as the new models Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual are said to be “built to last” with a battery power akin to the old Nokia 3310, with a promised 22 hours talk time and 31 days of standby.

They’ll come with the classic but old-school favorite games Snake and Nitro Racing and will hit the market somewhere soon early next year, followed in the same year by three other new smartphones.

It seems 2017 will be the comeback year, as not only Nokia but BlackBerry is announcing a big comeback trying to bring back their lost fans and costumers. They will be present at the CES conference in Las Vegas in January, hoping to present a brand new project that is “evolutionary first”.
