This year, Amy Schumer ‘failed’ to buy her father a new PJ or a new Christmas sweater.

Instead, she decided to offer him an invaluable gift. She re-bought the farm that her family lost when she was just a little girl.

The actress shared with her fans, the reaction of her father when he found out the amazing news.

Amy shared a FaceTime screenshot that showed her father’s surprised face and her proud smile.

Schumer’s childhood was tough, her father being diagnosed with sclerosis, her family went bankrupt and they were forced to leave the farm she grew up at.

‘Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me,” she wrote in the caption that accompanied the clip on Instagram. “We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him.’ Schumer said.

The actress is often visiting her father at the assisted living facility where he now lives.

The comedian also shared a funny video of herself at the farm from when she was little. In the video, Schumer is threatening to run away. ‘Bye, Daddy,’ says the little Schumer, in the video. ‘You’re going to miss me.’ He replies, “Of course I will my darling,” which only further enrages Schumer.

This isn’t the first time the actress surprises her dad with such a special gift.

Knowing his admiration for Goldie Hawn, she arranged a FaceTime session for them to see each other.
