Following the sudden passing of George Michael, 53, this December 25, the world is in grief. Fans are shocked by his death and mourn him.

Anthony Callea, a fan of the artist and an ARIA Award winning a star, describes how the late singer touched his life. In 2014, he recorded an album to pay his tribute to the star.

Ever since learning about the pop star’s death, George Michael’s music is playing in his house.

He finds in the iconic figure a great deal of inspiration. His music, the vocal power, and his story enchant him.

When it came to making music, Michael was a legend. In lyrics and music, he had the ability to make you feel. Everything came from passion and an immense deal of talent.

He was able to switch genres, going from his Wham! days of classic pop to a mature contemporary sound and too symphonic covers.

He had many fans and admirers over the years. Callea says that he experienced this at his tour a couple of years back and through his live album.

He was inspirational as a singer. Tonality, musicality and the art of being himself are what inspire Anthony the most.

George’s tone is incomparable. He made it sound effortless, his tone embodies honesty and truth.

His wide range combined with his melodic choices will inspire forever.

Regarding the late singer’s private life, all that Callea can say is that he understands his struggle with sexuality.

Even though Callea has a different story, “the path to happiness was certainly made a whole lot easier because of him.” He can relate to his family struggles and the ones he had in his career.

George Michael delivered a great lesson, that no one can take your music or your voice away from you no matter what.

It has become easier to accept others and equality and people are more aware of how important it is to accept differences.
