Chelsea confirm record $87 million Oscar transfer to Shanghai SIPG

Chelsea officially announced that midfielder Oscar has agreed to join Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIP on a record $87 million transfer fee.

The midfielder will move to China in the upcoming weeks, where he will sign an eye-popping deal with Shanghai SIPG.

The signing is scheduled in January when Oscar will score a £52million transfer with the Chinese club.

 

This deal catapulted Oscar in the international football elite, becoming the highest-paid player in the world.

The Chinese club will pay the Brazilian international £400,000 a week, which means £20.8m per year

To celebrate his success, Oscar reunited with friend Philipp Plein in London on Thursday and they partied in one of the most exclusive night clubs.

The football player was seen with his wife Ludmila Emboaba and sister, Gabriela Emboaba. No doubt he could afford even the priciest bottle of wine on the menu.
