After he spent his last weeks in a medical facility due to a mental breakdown which occurred on 21st November, Kanye West disappeared from the spotlight completely.
The father-of-two (daughter North and 1-year-old Saint) kept a low-profile since he was kept under strict observation at the UCLA Medical Center for almost two weeks.
Shortly after he received the results of the tests, the artist was diagnosed with momentary psychosis generated by sleep deprivation and dehydration.
Regarding the reality-show produced and starred by his wife, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashian’ went on a break shortly after the robbery episode from Paris.
The cherry on top for West’s fans was the concert in which the singer performed two songs and romped from the stage, after blasting Donald Trump, his friend Jay-Z and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
After the news of his hospitalization broke on the Internet, Twitter was ‘flooded’ by the ‘#KanyeIsOverParty’ hashtag.
His close friend Fonzworth Bentley rushed to clear things up during an interview for Page Six.
‘He never mourned his mother, and that’s at the root of this, and you don’t have to be a clinical psychologist to figure that out. That is at the core of this. I think a lot of these things are coming up and coming out now,’ Bentley said.
Kanye’s mother, Donda was also his manager. The business woman died in 2007 after she suffered complications generated by a cosmetic surgery.
‘But at the same time I believe in my heart it was a call for help,’ added Bentley.
