An air company in Japan now offers their clients the possibility to fly with their dogs.

So, dog lovers will now have the chance to travel by plane along with their four-legged friends.

No more imprisoning dogs in the drop off luggage

This unusual service is part of a whole vacation package.

Also, the promotion includes a three days trip accommodation to the hotel and a rented car – all including a seat for your dog.

The information was transmitted by Kyodo agency and quoted by AFP on Friday.

‘It was a really painful experience for me to leave my dog at the check-in. He was always barking and disturbing all the people in the airport’, said Toshihiko Kai.

He is a corporate man, aged 41 years, who used to travel accompanied by his dachshund.

However, he was thrilled when he heard the surprising news.

So, he did not hesitate and chose to take advantage of the special offer on Friday.

He booked two plane seats for him and his dog.

He chose to travel with Japan Airlines. Also, he booked the trip to Kagoshima, located in the South-West Japan.

‘Now, my dog is feeling safe for he is sitting next to me’, added Toshihiko Kai.

This trip will cost the dog lovers between $ 1,000 and $ 3,000, depending on the number of travelers.

‘Air traveling with pets will pave the way for new internal flights’, said an official of the Japanese airline.

The first such flight of JAL happened in December 2016 and was fully booked in a single hour, with 60 people and 30 dogs.

The idea seemed appealing for other air companies, too. ANA Holdings held an air flight last year in May, with 87 travelers and 44 pets.
