It’s official: Nina Dobrev returns for the ‘Vampire Diaries’ final

After the media has been rumbling with curiosity about how Vampire Diaries’ coming to an end will unfold, Nina Dobrev decided to put an end to all the recent rumors.

She posted a photo on her Instagram page on January 26^th, together with a thrilling announcement: she will be back for the epic finale.

She photographed her newest script with some unexpected hashtags:

‘#BackOnSet #TVDForever’

Just a few weeks ago, TVD team has made an announcement. That was Leslie-Anne Huff will be in for the last of the series.

What was indeed amazing was the stunning resemblance between Leslie and her former colleague, Nina.

It seemed that TVD’s fans all over the world have noticed the powerful similarities between the two.

Just as the world was getting used to the news that Nina Dobrev will no longer be seen on the set, the producer of TVD, Mike Pedowitz, declared for Television Critics Association that the team would have loved to have Nina with them.

‘She will be welcomed back anytime she feels like it’.

Nina Dobrev has been playing ‘The Vampire Diaries’, impersonating Elena Gilbert for seven seasons.

However, in May 2015 she appeared in her last episode of TVD.

At least, that’s what we thought.

After her departure, the series concentrated upon Salvatore brothers and their intrigues and adventures which they have to surpass along their ways.

Nina’s disappearance was made possible as Kai cast a spell that will forever connect Bonnie and Elena. As long as Bonnie would be alive, Elena will be plunged into a deep sleep.

Although the upcoming season promises to be full of action even without Elena, the fans are still inconsolable.

Therefore, any information about Elena and Nina Dobrev was very important.

Fortunately, now, Nina’s a load off everybody’s mind!
