The young Argentinian who married in 2015 with his 91-year-old aunt, because he was “in love” with her.

Meanwhile, his wife died and he became a widow at the age of just 24.

After the international press wrote about their incredible “love story” for weeks, Mauricio Ossola has managed to catch the attention of the tabloids again.

After the woman’s death, the Argentinian government refused to pay the widow a pension.

According to the British publication, Mauricio Ossola was only 23 when he asked the retired teacher, Yolanda Torres, to marry him.

The two tied the knot during a simple ceremony held in the province of Salta, two years ago.

Yolanda died last year and, since then, the young widow has been unsuccessfully trying to claim the woman’s pension, but the state does not recognize their marriage.

This type of financial aid is granted when the remaining widow’s partner can prove that the deceased was his only financial support, which is uncertain in the case of Ossola, who works as a lawyer and can sustain himself.

The man says that, despite the 68-year difference between him and his aunt, the marriage was perfectly legal, although they were relatives.

He is determined to take this case to the Supreme Court.

“This refusal is unfounded and I will not betray Yolanda’s last wish and the oath I made on her deathbed. Yolanda insisted on finishing my studies. Our marriage was a noble and legitimate decision. She supported me until the last moment, and her last wish was for me to receive this help”, says Ossola.
