“Sex and the City” was a sensational series that ended in 2004, but people love it and most of its fans re-watched all the episodes over and over again, which makes me believe the series is, in fact, immortal and worth watching at any time.

The stories of Carrie and her girlfriends ended in the moment Mr. Big declared his love for the leading character, and the two began the relationship that the fans had been waiting since the moment they met for the first time.

In the interview offered recently for Us Weekly, the author of “Sex and the City”, Candace Bushnell, explained why things ended in this manner.

The reason why Carrie Bradshaw chose Mr. Big was completely subjective and it was related to the author’s mother.

“My mother never loved Aidan without having a specific reason, and that made me to not be on his team”, revealed Candace.

Every time I went to visit my mother, my mother asked why Carrie was not with Mr. Big and told me I have to get rid of Aidan.

“My mother never felt that he was the right person for Carrie.”

Candace Bushnell was also asked about Sex and the City 3, and she said, “I always wanted a sequel, but I do not think it will ever happen.”
