Swedish politician: “Muslims are not 100% people”

A Swedish politician was forced to resign after stated during a live TV broadcast that Muslims “are not entirely people”.

Martrin Strid is a member of the extreme right-wing party, Democrats of Sweden, caused a major scandal after evaluating Muslims on a scale from 0 to 100 while making a speech at a national conference.

“On one hand, you are 100% human, one person, all that is part of this concept. On the other hand, you are 100% Mohammedan”, said Strid, according to The Independent, quoting the Swedish publication The Local.

Immediately after the entire Muslim community Sweden saw the broadcast, party members refused to comment and party secretary Richard Jomshof said these statements are completely racist.

“Everyone has a fundamental human value. If you think someone is worthless because of the color of the skin or the community they are part of, that is racism for me. We will not accept that”, said Jomshof.

Strid tried to explain that ISIS members are “almost one hundred percent Mohammedans”, but added that “all Muslims are somewhere on this scale.”

Then he added: “If you are a former Muslim, then you have gone far enough to be a whole man.”

Later, after being criticized for these allegations, the man presented his apologies.
