YouTube will implement a new function, that will integrate a sharing feature.

In other words, the videos could be shared into a private chat system.

YouTube has decided to test its new function in Canada first. This is because the Canadian users are sharing 15% more videos than any other users on the planet.

The interface of the new system completely transforms the modality of sharing, adding a chatting option to it.

Therefore, there is a great possibility of having a private conversation ‘around’ a video.

Consequently, the users won’t have to move into another chatting box after sending a video to someone or receiving one.

So, the newest function would be available on YouTube, from where you will have the possibility to send a video to a friend or to a group of people.

Then, the conversation may start, where you can talk about the video that you saw or even send new videos within the same conversation.

Google Photos

The implemented interface is quite similar to the one from Google Photos. The sharing system allows you to press on the contact that you would like to send an image to. After that, the application does all the rest.

Once you press ‘send’, the system automatically opens for you a chatting box, where you can continue your conversation.

Using the chatting tool on YouTube sounds interesting.

However, we are to see whether if the messaging system will be well received by the Canadian audience or not.

Seemingly, users have got used to sending YouTube links in their preferred chatting app, that is for sure Whatsapp.
