The first days after Trump’s inauguration: hundreds of thousands of people marched the streets against the new President of the US.
The center of the movement was, of course, Washington, where Americans gathered their forces and shouted at the top of their lungs all kinds of mottos.
Also, similar events occurred worldwide, in countries such as Australia, Mexico, Canada, Portugal, Great Britain, Germany and France.
The organizers have stated that the protest was, in fact, an action, by which the participants wanted to show their profound dissatisfaction with the inauguration of Donald Trump.
Over 250 protesters were arrested
Both before and after Trump’s investiture ceremony, violent protests have aroused throughout the US.
While Trump was reading his vows, the American police forces counter-attacked the raging crowd with tear-exciting gas.
Immediately after that, Trump was having lunch with several dignitaries.
In the meantime, the city center of DC was assaulted. The protesters have burned gas canisters, hit the police officers and broke several windows.
The protests – Democracy or stupidity?
No doubt, anti-Trump protests are an absolute nonsense.
Why is that?
Because it’s manifesting too late and against the wrong enemy.
America needed a protesting movement about six or seven months ago and clearly not now, when there’s clearly nothing to be done anymore.
America made a choice
And now, it must swallow its pride and live with its own choices.
In conclusion, the most violent individuals have been charged and will have to face the consequences of their actions.
The protesters could be sentenced to 10 years and obliged to pay a fine of $250,000.
