A researchers’ team from London have come up with a stunning scientific study!

That is, a simple injection with the ‘kisspeptin hormone’ can increase the brain activity in those brain areas directly linked with the sexual arousal.

Consequently, the scientists are trying their best to find out how this discovery can represent a salvation when it comes to psychosexual problems.

Also, the hormone can cure the problems that some people may have when trying to conceive a child.

So far, most of today’s researches and possible treatments to cure infertility have concentrated on the biological causes, that make it difficult for a couple to conceive a baby.

Obviously, these factors play an important role in reproduction.

‘But, the role that our brains and our emotional processes are playing in this disease, is very important and only half-known’, explained Professor Dhillon, the leading researcher of the study.

The study was performed on 29 straight men.

Furthermore, they have received an injection with kisspeptin or a placebo pill.

Then, they were shown sexual images and also images of couples, not at all linked with sex, while their brains were subjected to MRI examination.

So, the researchers were able to monitor their reactions and responses to the stimuli.

It has been found out that the subjects who had received kisspeptin had an increased activity in those specific brain areas that are highly associated with sexual arousal.

The researcher’s team thinks that this is a solid proof that this hormone is stimulating those circuits in the brain linked with sex and love.

Thus, the kisspeptin injections can make your body act like you have taken a Viagra pill.

In conclusion, the scientists want to repeat the study, only this time they’ll perform the tests on women as patients, to discover if they will act the same way.
