BlackBerry is back with a new special phone that has a pretty amazing design.

Back in September, the Canadian brand announced that it would stop making their well-known hardware.

At CES 2017, the ones attending could see the brand-new aluminum BlackBerry phone. The device features physical Qwerty keyboard. The design is very attractive and is sure going to get a lot of attention from customers.

The president of TLC Communication for the North America said that rumors were out there for a long time and now they wanted to give a confirmation that the device is real. TLC is the fourth maker of handsets from North America.

Other details about the phone aren’t available just yet. The pricing and the majority of its features are still a secret. Some specifications have managed to escape, the gadget has USB-C port, Android Nougat software, headphone jack and the keyboard has a fingerprint sensor included. BlackBerry also kept some of their usual characteristics, such as BlackBerry Hub.

The TLC director claims the new device features a better software than Apple iOS or than Samsung’s. the device is manufactured in China, but its software will be signed digitally in Canada.

“The consumer is always part of the equation. Do I have a goal of putting these into retail stores with carriers? Yes,” said the director. He wants this gadget to compete with the most famous ones and he thinks in time this could be reached.

He believes 2018 is going to be a good year when his company will “stop the downward trend which is happening right now.”
