Donald Trump Wishes His Adversaries A Happy New Year

President elect Donald Trump’s love for Twitter is well documented and those who expected the new year to come and go without a special message were certainly proven wrong, as Trump tweeted a New Year’s wish to his “many enemies” who have “lost so badly they just don’t know what to do”.

Ironically enough, he ended the message with the word “Love!”, making this dispatch all the more humorous to the legion of Twitter users who enjoy mocking his 140 character outbursts. The message was widely circulated among those who frequent the popular social media hub, receiving over 90,000 retweets and over 208,000 likes.

For his part, Trump will be ringing in the New Year with his own private party at his Mar-a-Lago club, which is located in Palm Beach, Florida. A number of a big name celebrities and dignitaries are expected to be in attendance at this event, including Hollywood action film star Sylvester Stallone.

The tweet was par for the course in the eyes of most observers, as Trump has spent a vast majority of the weeks after his victory crowing about his success and rubbing his election in the faces of all those who thought that Hillary Clinton would dispatch him with relative ease.

It remains to be seen if he will continue to remain as active on Twitter once he is officially inaugurated, although he has given zero indicator that he plans to stop tweeting. Trump has repeatedly referred to Twitter as a pivotal form of modern communication and few would be surprised if he continued to offer his trademark bursts of confidence and bombast going forward.
