The new TV series are actually eight documentaries about style and design gathered together under the form of a serial.

There’s been approximately one year since the streaming service started its domination process across the entire globe.

Although they are having a massive success, Netflix is not sleeping on it.

Netflix has massive plans for 2017 and most of them imply investing project in original content.

Given the massive competition in the industry, the only option to attract more subscribers implies the offering of movies and TV series that you will not find in any other place.

As part of the business strategy for 2017, Netflix announced the launch of a very elaborate series about design.

With a visual and unique style, similar to Chef’s Table, the new production that carries the name of ‘Abstract: The Art of Design’ struggles to surprise as many particularities of such a complex world in a TV series.

For now, ‘Abstract’ will include eight episodes and they will all be available starting with 10 February.

Each one of these episodes will focus on a designer who also activates in a completely different discipline.

We will get to see episodes about design, graphic, illustration, photography, architecture, interior design, shoe design and even auto design.

So, if you have a passion for fashion and design you should recognize the following names from the industry: Bjarke Ingles Via 57 West, Tinker Hatfield from Nike, who is responsible with Air Jordans and Mags from Ralph Giles and Fiat Chrysler.
